I was lucky enough to get the chance to spend 5 nights up on Harris at the start of December, it was my 60th trip to the Outer Hebrides.
The weather was typically Hebdridean with a constant barrage of wind and cloud coming in from the Atlantic Ocean.

I spent a couple of nights with friends near Muir of Ord, before driving to Uig to get the ferry to Harris.
I wasn't able to book the Stornoway ferry, so I had to drive through a wee bit of snow on the way to Uig.
Thankfully there wasn't much snow around Lochcarron, so I was able to get up the steeper hills and make it in time for the ferry at Uig.

We managed to catch a glimpse of the Milky Way and some Northern Lights one night.
The following morning we headed down to Huisinis and had the place to ourselves, enjoying a nice cuppa and a bacon roll in the building at Huisinis, after a wee walk around.
On the drive back from Huisinis, I spotted an eagle being harassed by a buzzard.
