I snapped this shot from the deck of the ferry, not long after we were pulling away from the Ullapool and Loch Broom. Looking back, the silhouette of Stac Pollaidh rose against the brooding sky, a curtain of rain sweeping across the mountains in the distance. The mountain in the background is Cul Mor.
It was one of those fleeting, atmospheric moments where light, landscape, and weather align just right—and I was lucky enough to catch it.
